The CNS and Internal Medicine Franchise is comprised of a network of J&JPRD sites situated across the globe, that collaborate to focus on solving the underpinnings of psychiatric and other mental illnesses, pain management, anti-infectives, and cardiovascular and metabolic diseases.

The Biotechnology, Immunology and Oncology Franchise is anchored at Centocor, focusing on discovering and developing novel treatments for autoimmune diseases and cancers.

The Virology Franchise, headed by Tibotec, is developing a range of new products, including innovative options for patients afflicted with the HIV virus, and that will address the growing number and rate of Hepatitis C infections.
